Arkansas has state-supported substance use treatment access, nonprofit residential programs, community behavioral health providers and structured outpatient care. Treatment resources are distributed across Little Rock, northwest Arkansas, the River Valley and smaller regional centers.
The selected resources represent different regions and levels of care. Confirm current licensing, insurance participation, clinical eligibility and availability directly with each provider.
- Detox or withdrawal management may be appropriate when stopping alcohol or drugs requires clinical monitoring.
- Residential treatment provides a live-in setting with structured addiction care.
- PHP and IOP provide frequent treatment while allowing the person to live off site.
- Outpatient treatment can include therapy, addiction medicine, peer support and continuing care.
- Medication treatment may be available for opioid or alcohol use disorder when clinically appropriate.
